Strategic Faculty Hiring Initiatives

As stated in our strategic plan, our goal is to expand our faculty by 250 by 2021. We have launched three new efforts: the Midcareer Professor Hiring Program, Faculty Hiring for Leveraged Research Excellence, and the Visiting Distinguished Professor Initiative

We will continue the Distinguished Professor Hiring Program, High Impact Hiring Plan, Inclusive Excellence Supplement, and UC President’s Postdoctoral Fellowship Program hiring programs, as well as the usual school-based recruitments.
